Pepperoni Pizza Sliders

Pepperoni Pizza Sliders are prepared with marinara sauce, melty mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni slices and finished with a buttery topping.

Pizza is famous party food and a must-have for watching sports. However, ordering many pies from the local pizza shop might be pricey, and making your own can be time-consuming. Sure, we adore a homemade pizza crust, but sometimes we want to enjoy those tastes without all of the effort.

Sliders are a simple way to transform your favorite pizza into something new and exciting. It’s also an excellent pastime to do with the children since putting together the tiny sandwiches is a fun and easy cooking task that youngsters can manage with ease.

The bread for the sliders is entirely up to you, but mini brioche rolls are used in this recipe—the enriched buttery dough has a wonderfully light texture and flavor. Here, pepperoni is used as the filling, but—just like with the meal it’s based on—sliders can be custom-made to suit vegetarians’ tastes by including vegetables, broccoli, or mushrooms, while Meat lovers may add sausage or cooked ground beef instead.

Obviously, it doesn’t have to be a party to make pizza sliders. In fact, this meal is so quick to prepare that it’s ideal for a fast supper on those hectic nights when you get home late and wish to serve something homemade. With a salad or a bowl of your favorite hot soup, you’ve got an entire dinner in no time at all. We’re sure your family will want you to prepare this again and again, considering how delicious these pepperoni pizza sliders are!

  • 12 slider rolls
  • Two tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese or Romano cheese
  • 2 ounces (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 36 to 48 slices of pepperoni
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • Two tablespoons of chopped fresh basil
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps to Make It

1. Gather the ingredients. The oven should preheat to 400°F.

2. In a small mixing dish, whisk together the melted butter, Parmesan or Romano cheese, dried oregano, and garlic powder.

3. Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then brush with half of the melted butter mixture.

4. On top of each bottom half, place a spoonful of tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, three or four pieces of pepperoni, and a pinch of chopped basil.

5. Brush the tops of the sliders with another half of the buns and finish with the remaining melted butter mixture.

6 For 10 to 12 minutes, bake the tray of sliders or until the cheese has melted.

7. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • You may prepare the sliders a day or two in advance and wrap them tightly with plastic wrap to keep them from becoming stale. Refrigerate the sliders until you’re ready to bake.
  • This is a single-serving recipe for 12 sliders, but you may easily double the quantity if you’re serving a large crowd or if you know your guests will eat more than two each.

Can you freeze pizza sliders?

Sliders can be cooled, baked, and frozen. We prefer to freeze them individually. My kids pack them in their lunchboxes. To make your own pizza combination, add your favorite pizza toppings.
