Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls
  • Two tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese or Romano cheese
  • 2 ounces (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 36 to 48 slices of pepperoni
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • Two tablespoons of chopped fresh basil
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps to Make It

1. Gather the ingredients. The oven should preheat to 400°F.

2. In a small mixing dish, whisk together the melted butter, Parmesan or Romano cheese, dried oregano, and garlic powder.

3. Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then brush with half of the melted butter mixture.

4. On top of each bottom half, place a spoonful of tomato sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, three or four pieces of pepperoni, and a pinch of chopped basil.

5. Brush the tops of the sliders with another half of the buns and finish with the remaining melted butter mixture.

6 For 10 to 12 minutes, bake the tray of sliders or until the cheese has melted.

7. Serve hot and enjoy!

  • You may prepare the sliders a day or two in advance and wrap them tightly with plastic wrap to keep them from becoming stale. Refrigerate the sliders until you’re ready to bake.
  • This is a single-serving recipe for 12 sliders, but you may easily double the quantity if you’re serving a large crowd or if you know your guests will eat more than two each.
